Welcome to the MacleBros MSF Fundraising Page. We are so happy that you have made it here and have made the decision to support us for an amazing cause on our journey along the MacLehose Trail!
The Cause:
Medecins Sans Frontieres or Doctors Without Borders is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
Currently they are on the ground in over 70 different countries around the world, fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and need our financial assistance in order to support the local health authorities in regions with fragile healthcare systems, such as in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Central to Southern America.
MSF are delivering essential medical supplies, caring for patients, carrying out infection prevention and control measures, building temporary health structures to decongest overwhelmed referral facilities for COVID-19 patients and more.
Help MSF respond to epidemics, pandemics and other emergencies around the world.

The Challenge:
The MacLehose Trail is a 100 Km (62 Mile) hiking trail in the New Territories of Hong Kong.
The entire traverse packs in 4,730 metres of elevation gain, including a jaunt up Hong Kong's highest peak, Tai Mo Shan (957m). We will start on the very eastern tip of Hong Kong, in Sai Kung and finish in the town of Tuen Mun, in the West!
We aim to start at 9am on Saturday morning and hopefully finish in time for breakfast on Sunday. The entire hike should take us 25-26 hours.
For the past six weeks, we have been training consistently, accumulating over 200 kilometers of hikes and learning the ins and outs of the Mac Daddy.
Despite all of this training, this will still be be one of the greatest challenges we could ever embark on. Please come with us on this wonderful journey, where we hope our pain and suffering will bring aid and hope to those less fortunate.
